M31- PAndAS53/54

The two globular clusters with the designation "M31- PAndAS-53/54" are with a distance of more than 7° quite far away from the Andromeda galaxy. With absolute magnitudes of about Mv= -9mag they are similar in brightness to "Messier 13", which is one of the most beautiful globular clusters in the northern sky.

With an apparent visual magnitude of 16mag both objects are probably only visible with telescopes of 16" aperture and larger. They lie close to each other next to a bright asterism. With an apparent diameter of 1.2" (arcseconds) you need a very high magnification even with 20" aperture to see the two globular clusters as tiny diffuse disks.
